Saudi Aramco signs a global partnership agreement with FIFA

Saudi Aramco and FIFA have entered into a 4-year strategic partnership to support the development of football globally. This partnership includes sponsorship of landmark events such as the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Sports are an engine for growth and improving the quality of life, and we are confident that our agreement with FIFA strengthens our support for sports, including our investment in the Saudi Al-Qadisiyah football team and in women’s golf through the Aramco Team Championship Series, in addition to our support for the Formula 1 program in schools.

These partnerships will create pathways to opportunity, especially for the younger generation, and will positively impact the community.

For his part, Mr. Gianni Infantino, President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), stressed that this partnership will support FIFA in successfully organizing its major tournaments, and will enable it to provide better support to member football federations around the world.

He added, “We welcome Saudi Aramco to join the family of global FIFA partners.” This partnership will help FIFA successfully organize its major tournaments over the next four years, and as with all our commercial agreements, this partnership will also enable us to provide enhanced and comprehensive support to our 211 member associations around the world.

Saudi Aramco also intends to work with the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) to drive innovation, by identifying opportunities to showcase its expertise and technologies in football competitions around the world. Among these initiatives, Aramco aims to provide new and innovative ways for football fans to participate in FIFA events.
