Riyadh: Abaha International Airport has become the first silent airport in Saudi Arabia. The airport authorities issued an announcement in this regard on Thursday.
This is to reduce noise pollution and enable a quiet environment inside the airport. After opening the door of silence and closing the loudspeakers after the last bell, there will be no more announcements at Abaha Airport regarding take-off, boarding of passengers and last bell for passengers.
The management has taken the decision to make the Abaha airport silent based on following global best practices that have been applied in many international airports around the world.
