Prosecution warns residents about fraud by maid recruitment agencies
The Dubai Public Prosecution has warned residents about fraud by maid recruitment agencies. Advocate General and Head of Naturalization and Residency Prosecution, Ali Humaid Bin Khatem has stated that a 2-year contract is drawn up while employing domestic workers.
Worker’s flight ticket also has to bear the cost
It has also been said that people should not only be aware of their rights but also take care of the dignity of the workers. If a worker does not work according to his contract, then the agency has to pay all the money to the sponsor and also bear the cost of flight tickets of the worker.
