The consulate has asked them to stick to the directives of local authorities of the state for his or her personal safety.
On Sunday in Washington D.C., the UAE embassy advised citizens of UAE living in US cities to avoid visiting crowded areas to ensure their safety. The embassy also urged its citizens to follow instructions issued by local authorities in the US.
The UAE Consulate General in New York has issued a similar tweet that warns UAE citizens from going areas where protests are taking place.
The protests started happening after the death of an African-American man, George Floyd, who was in the custody of police in Minneapolis Police earlier in the week.
