Mr. Dhananjay Datar, an Indian businessman based in the United Arab Emirates, has again helped 20 sailors who were stranded in Yemen for 10 months. In the entire group, 14 Indians were from 5 Bangladeshi and one from Egypt.

Dhananjay Datar, popularly known as Masala King, also gave ₹ 20000 to all these workers to help as an emergency.

These nuclei were standing by stopping their ship in a place that used to fall in a War Zone. Meanwhile, coming to the Coast Guard of Yemen arrested the entire team and took them to a hotel in the city and kept them for further questioning. All these documents and mobile phone passports were sealed.

The entire group was kept in bondage for about 6 months and they were not allowed to make any contact of any kind. Just a few months ago, he was given a chance to talk to his family and after that he got a place in the media.

Meanwhile, some people also informed Dr. Dhananjay Datar and pleaded for help, just a few moments later Vipul, former Consul-General of India to Dubai was approached by Dr. Datar and proceeded in this matter.

As there is no Indian Embassy in Yemen, so Ashok Kumar, who is an Indian ambassador and working in Djibouti, asked for help and finally opened the way to rescue them and pave the way forward.

Workers told the incident.

Workers told that apart from spending time on foreign land for 10 months, getting only pulses and rice daily was not less than a nightmare. Everybody had given money to an agent for this job for about one lakh three lakhs and now he did not have any job nor did the company give him his salary nor did he have a single penny of any kind.

Meanwhile, this help of Dr. Datar was very effective for him and he expressed great respect towards it.

So far, Dr. Dhananjay Datar has helped nearly 5000 Indian citizens without jobs and was stranded without money.

Answering a question, Dr. Dhananjay Datar said that “I have not done anything big but I have only done what I should have done for my countrymen in such a trapped situation.”
