The Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources stressed a number of incentives and facilities for investors in industry and mining, pointing to the national strategy for industry aimed at promoting industrial integration and development.
Saudi Arabia announced its intention to exploit the experiences of the leading countries in the field of mining, especially the experience of Morocco, with the aim of strengthening its partnership in major mining projects.

Confirm Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, on the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to transform the mining sector into the third pillar of the national industry. This came during his speech at a round table meeting with a number of Moroccan investors and businessmen, which was held in the Moroccan city of Casablanca.

Al-Kharif pointed out that Saudi Arabia is looking forward to benefiting from the experiences of the leading countries in the field of mining, especially the Moroccan experience, to be a key partner in major mining projects. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Morocco have huge phosphate resources, which together contribute more than 40% of the global production of phosphate fertilizers.
Within the framework of enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries, the Saudi minister stressed the importance of industrial integration between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries and Arab countries. The Minister stressed that the Kingdom’s national strategy for industry focuses on developing specific industrial sectors, including industries that achieve sustainability, food security, pharmaceutical and military security, in addition to industries linked to Saudi Arabia’s competitive advantage such as oil and gas and geographical location.
The Minister concluded by emphasizing the incentives and facilities provided by Saudi Arabia to all investors in the industrial and mining sectors, stressing that the National Strategy for Industry identified a number of paths that serve the principle of industrial integration and seeks to develop it.
This announcement comes within the framework of the current official visit of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources to Morocco, where he is accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Mining Affairs, Engineer Khaled bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer.
The Minister is participating in the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the twenty-eighth session of the General Assembly of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization, which will be held in the capital, Rabat, from June 4 to 6.
