According to the Saudi Press Agency “Was”, Saudi Railways “SAR” said that the Haramain Express train is ready to receive pilgrims.
The Saudi Railways revealed an operational plan for this year’s Hajj season via the railway, which is about 453 km long.
The Haramain Express train includes 5 stations, linking Mecca to Medina. The five stations are:
1 – Makkah Al-Mukarramah Station.
2 – Jeddah Main Station (Sulaymaniyah).
3 – King Abdulaziz International Airport station in Jeddah.
4 – King Abdullah Economic City Station.
5 – Medina station.

Haramain train plan
The Saudi Railways said that the operational plan for the Haramain Express Train includes the following:
1 – An increase in the number of seats available for pilgrims compared to last year.
2 – The increase in the number of seats for the Haramain Express train amounts to about 100,000 seats.
3 – After the increase, the number of seats on the Haramain Express train increased to 16 million seats.
4 – Adding 430 new trips to the Haramain Express Train during the Hajj season.
5 – The number of flights in the operational plan for the current year increased to 3,800 flights.
6 – The number of Haramain Express train trips on peak days reaches 126 trips.
SAR said that the new operational plan will be implemented from the month of Dhul-Qi’dah until 19 Dhul-Hijjah.

3 – It operates with a fleet of 35 trains.
