UAE Supreme Council member and Umm al-Quain ruler, Sheikh Saud bin Rashd Al-Mulla, ordered on Thursday that the main Cornish road be named after the late Kuwaiti emir Sheikh Sabah-Ahmed al-Jaber al Sahab.

Information from the sources revealed that the gesture was to honor Sheikh Saba for playing a major role in the region before the establishment of the UAE. He also praised the deceased emir for enhancing relations between the two countries.

The new emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jabar al-Sabah, said on Wednesday that the constitution “has vowed to fully discharge its responsibility to maintain stability.”

In the records of the National Assembly of Honor, it was revealed in writing that Amir Nawaf said, Kuwait has promised to fulfill its responsibility towards the country. At the same time, Nawaf paid tribute to the late Amir Sheikh Saba for his human contribution. “I was trusted by the Kuwaiti people. He has vowed to the people to fully fulfill their “responsibilities” towards the Constitution and democracy.
