Taif is a city in Mecca Province in southwestern Saudi Arabia. It is known for the Shubhra Palace of the 20th century, a grand, white-walled building with lattice windows. Now the Taff Regional Museum, it displays artifacts from the Islamic and pre-Islamic periods.
To the west, King Fahd Gardens has grass lawns, restaurants and a lagoon. To the east is the Taif National Park, which has trees and a large dam. These days the city has become more beautiful due to the fog being covered.
