Saudia Cargo and Saudi Arabia Logistics Company (SAL) CEO Omar Hariri said that after its approval by the authorities concerned, all arrangements and capacities have been put in place to receive the consignment of the ‘Ronovoy’ virus vaccine.

“King Khalid International Airport, Model Cargo Village in Riyadh, cargo facilities at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam are ready to receive refrigerated shipments and medical supplies.

In an interview with the Okaz / Saudi Gazette, he stated, “The operational efficiencies of pharmaceutical facilities are in a state of maximum readiness to receive and handle the shipment of vaccines safely and in a healthy manner.”

Hariri said that the Saudia fleet has contributed to the consignment of 12 million kilograms of medicines and medical supplies to Saudi during the month of March through the end of March to October.

The ship was built on 1,767 flights of cargo planes, while 1,080 passenger flight services were used for cargo and supply shipments.
