Let me tell you that Dominic Raab, the Foreign Minister of Britain, indicated this in an interview. The UK had on 20 November asked its medical regulator, the Medicine and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to assess the Pfizer-BioNotech Corona Virus vaccine.
The vaccine has been developed by well-known and prominent American pharmaceutical company Pfizer and German company Bioentech. The company recently claimed that its vaccine was effective against people of all ages, races during testing.
The UK government had asked its pharmaceutical and health products regulatory agency (MHRA) to look into the data provided by the company to see if it met all standards in terms of quality, safety and effectiveness. The UK is expected to receive 40 million doses of the drug by the end of 2021. Such a dose can cause vaccination of one third of the country’s population.
At the same time, a media report quoting the appointed vaccine minister Nadim Jahavi in Britain had already said that if everything goes according to plan and the vaccine developed by Pfizer and Bioentech is approved, then within few hours of that vaccine Distribution and vaccination will be started. Necessary preparations are being finalized.
On the other hand, Pfizer and BioNotech have also submitted an application to the European Medicines Agency for approval of their vaccine for corona virus. The two companies said on Tuesday that the review process for the applications submitted on Monday was completed.

The move comes a day after this request from rival company Moderna.
