The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday said it has approved the issuance of a 10-year Golden Visa to more professionals, including PhD degree holders, physicians, engineers, and special graduates from universities.

The UAE issues golden visas to the talented people to settle in the Gulf and help them in nation building. UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced this by tweeting.

He tweeted, “We today approved the decision to issue 10-year golden visas for migrants in the following categories: all PhD degree holders, all physicians, computer engineering, electronics, programming, electricity and biotechnology, accredited by the UAE Graduates of universities with a GPA (grade point average) of 3.8 or above. ”

Gulf News reported that the Golden Visa will also be given to special degree holders, including experts in fields such as artificial intelligence and epidemiology. This decision has received the approval of the Council of Ministers of the UAE.
